Prayer Retreat @ Penang Hill

On Labour Day (1 May 2024), we chose to labour not with our hands, but in prayer on Penang Hill. Our group early at 7am, and after taking the funicular train to the upper (viaduct) station, we had a short hike to Bethel House of Prayer.

The day was filled with worship, reflection, and unity. We shared prayer points, and heard from Pastor Looi on listening to God’s voice. We all had a time of personal meditation and prayer in the calm hills of Bukit Bendera. Afterwards, we came together to share what the Lord had impressed upon our hearts, encouraging one another with what we’ve heard from God that day.

 It was a meaningful way to mark Labour Day – that the greatest work we can do is to seek God and intercede for His people.
