R.A.D Youth Virtual Skit Night
From 16-18 Sept 2021, the Youths of LWC continued meeting online for our annual fun retreat. It was during this retreat when we officially launched R.A.D. Youth.
We had a short sharing from Pastor Edward, followed by introduction to our new “RAD Youth” themes. Each team of Youths also had special tasks to perform within their teams, or in their own homes as a way to keep engaged with the people around them even during the time of social distancing. We ended the week with skit presentations, featuring three creative reenactments when Jesus was “R.A.D.”

If there’s anything we learnt throughout the Movement Control Order in Malaysia, it’s that fellowship in Christ is never limited by walls or screens. It was encouraging to see our Youths being resourceful in finding fun online games to share and stay connected. We played skribbl.io, codenames, and even some from Zoom’s own meeting rooms.
R.A.D. Youth exists to connect secondary school students and working young adults to God, with one another and their communities. Together we have meaningful mission trips, fellowships, bible study and other fun activities.
The R.A.D. Youths group aims to:
• kindle the young believer’s relationship with God and with one another
• Support each other to live out Christ in their lives, in actions and in truth.
• to be a generation of youth in the society who are relational, approachable and discerning.
