Thank you for your generosity and your willingness to support the ministry of Living Word Centre.

We are stewards of our bodies, our time, our opportunities, our gifts and talents, our money and possessions, and any other temporal resource God entrusts to us to use for His glory. We makes sacrifices in our present daily life so we can store up treasure for eternity (Matthew 6:19-21). When the time comes, we yearn to hear this commendation from our Lord, “Well done, good and faithful servant…enter into the joy of your master” (Matthew 25:21).

Why We Give

1. Gratitude for Jesus’ Sacrifice
We give ourselves as an act of worship (Romans 12:1-2), knowing that any good thing we enjoy has been given from the hand of God (James 1:17). We are grateful that God has already given us–and continues to give us–an “inexpressible gift” in Christ (2 Corinthians 9:15).

2. The Mission of the Church
We want to invest in disciple-making in our church, and other ministries that are advancing the Kingdom of God (Matthew 28:19-20).

3. Sharing With Those in Need
We want to care for the basic ongoing needs our church family (1 Timothy 5:8).

4. Growing Spiritually in the Lord
We give to the Lord by faith, trusting in His promises and provision as we joyfully surrender whatever He asks in obedience to Christ. This helps to set our mind on eternal, spiritual realities, and frees us from the unsatisfying idols of the world that would compete for our affections (Matthew 6:19-21).
